I'm lobo-ing in the office now... in my cube.. which is about 4 times the size of my previous workstation in "that conference co.". And I have a cubicle all to myself... actually at first the 'high I' me felt a bit lonely. haha... but now i kind of enjoy this privacy. I think I'll miss it when we move to comcentre. Heard that we won't get cubicles already... "that conf co." style of openness... back to square one. haha... maybe then i'll be wishing for my privacy back!
Nothing much has been happening this past wk since I joined. Today marks my one week anniversary with the red brolly! *pops champagne* (Ok, imagine. I ain't got any champagne in my cubicle. haha) Has been a pretty eventful week... Looking at the SITEX fair... some aggressive marketing to kill the green monster. (did you see the latest advertisement on TV? haha... the green monster going "I'm fat" then the red guy going "I'm smart". Haa... I thought it's a little obvious. Hmmm...) Trying to make sure my lappie doesn't explode on me... (i'm still praying. it looks like it's going to...) sitting through meetings where most of the time they're gossipping (no fair, i dont get to sit in proper meetings. :()...
I'm most thankful to God for this job... the favor that He granted me during the interviews (my director is not the most friendly person on this planet. *grinz*), the change of plans from retention marketing to product marketing... and they willing to bring me in despite my lack of experience! On top of it... i'm getting a lappie, a private workspace, a new phone, my phone bills paid by the co, broadband discount... solid marketing experience (which involves ATL, BTL, 4Ps... blah blah). I can't ask for more!
